The Doors of Athens.

A project to pay tribute to vintage doors and buildings in modern day Athens. These doros are not just functional elements but also key pieces of architectural history that reflect the city's rich cultural heritage. They also provide insight into the architectural styles, social history, and aesthetic values of their times.

A dying breed in the center of Athens, which is in constant change to answer to the needs of modernism and tourism, they can now mostly be found if pockets of small neighborhoods around the center. There is a new awareness and acknowledgement of these architectural gems which is now gaining more and more ground in effort to save and refurbish them.
