Valya Papadopoulou

My name is Valya and I am a Canadian born multi disciplinary artist living in Athens, Greece. My work evokes an imaginative world imbued with elegance and mystery. Permeated with an array objects, plants, flowers, and figures, I create images that pull the observer into inventive storytelling.

The media I use are both traditional and digital, but it always starts with putting pencil to paper. An avid image collector, I am in constant search of new inspiration and the opportunity to learn new skills.

As a trained Engineer, my work often reflects the the methodology and structure inherent to my trade.
